1981 Fuji America Pics

Here are a few pics of my new (to me) 1981 Fuji America I took after about a 20 mile errand running jaunt.  This is really a to die for sort of bike, both in the looks and the function.  My only gripe so far is that this model is pretty stingy in the fender clearance department.  Fenders and 32c tires seem almost out of the questions, a very, very tight fit at the minimum.

In all fairness, the bike was specc'ed with 28c tires.  I'll ride the 32c tires for a while, but eventually want to go back to 28 or even maybe 26/25, since this bike is loads of fun to be riding fast.

Fresh from the cellphone, 1981 Fuji America, in as found condition with the exception that I've replace the chain:

Beautiful pics, beautiful bike. My brother has one exactly like it, maybe 4000 total miles and zero in the last 20 years. Always kept indoors at room temp! He needs $$, wants to find it a good home. Advice?

Thanks-
